Profile

Expertise as product owner (platform development, integrations) and translating technical requirements in business language.

Platform subteam

* Drives development of platform and day to day contact/interface between IT, business and TCS.

* Platform development with several intermediate evaluations

* System updates/integrations (eg NgenCodac, SAP, Medidata, Bracket/Perceptive), align with JIT labeling updates

Responsibilities

- Participates in standard SCRUM ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
- Works in relevant structures/teams to manage dependencies and set priorities across multiple teams and Backlog items and to maintain alignment to the Release Product vision and roadmap.
- In determining relative business value of the backlog items, the Product Owner uses necessary inputs such as business priorities and the need to address technical debt. The resultant Product Backlog is aligned with various stakeholders.
- Responsible for prioritizing the backlog based on business value and serving as the business representative for the developers and QA members on the Agile SCRUM team
- The Product Owner ensures that the Product Backlog is constantly prioritized to secure delivery of maximum business value.
- The Product Owner in cooperation with the Scrum team(s) sets the iteration themes/epics/features and assigns prioritized items (User Stories) from the Product Backlog to the Scrum team(s).
- The Product Owner is responsible for signing off on features to ensure they meet the agreed upon acceptance criteria and overall vision.
- The Product Owner has final sign-off of the Product Release at the different levels.
- Responsible for creating and ensuring accuracy of the User Requirement Documents/Use Cases whereas the User Stories and UAT test cases are derived from
- Creating User Stories for all new functionality, presenting user stories to the product teams in grooming and design sessions, ensuring that new functionality meets the acceptance criteria so the work can be designated as complete.
- Assists the development team with release planning, functional research, and testing of releases
- Participate in Team Planning meetings and is available to provide advice, clarification and guidance during the execution of each Sprint.
- The product owner champions sufficient stakeholder engagement during the development through, for example, product demonstration and stakeholder's feedback.
- Provide and/or create UAT Test Cases at Use Case and/or User Stories level
- Inspect, accept or reject completed work from the development Sprint.
- Prioritize defect stories and act as the primary defect escalation contact.
- Experience as Product Owner for Mobile Applications on Windows, Mac, iOS and/or Android operating systems (Preferred)
- Experience creating and testing UAT test cases

Skills & Experience

- A minimum of 7 years work experience as Business Analyst/Architect and/or Process Owner with minimal 2 years as Product Owner (Agile/SAFe)
- Experience in translation of Business requirements into process documentation, Use Cases (UML) and User Stories
- A minimum of 2 years Agile/Test Driven Development
- Experience working in a multi-vendor sourcing and international organization. Must: Pharmaceutical companies (minimal recent 2 years) - Highly preferred: Clinical Trials (minimal recent 1 year)

- A finely-honed attention to detail while keeping in mind the larger picture of business needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Excellent written and verbal communications and follow-up skills - English mandatory - Dutch plus
- Ability communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel (internal and vendors/onsite and offsite)
- Ability working on high pace and pressure projects
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
