PRODUCT OWNER (FINANCE/TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE)

One of Europe and Netherlands global financial clients are urgently looking for an Product Owner with prior expertise in technology to work in a multinational team in a progressive environment using cutting-edge technologies for a 1-2 year contract in Amsterdam.

THE IDEAL PRODUCT OWNER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 3 -5 year(s) experience working as a Product Owner in a technology environment.
- Solid Agile experience.
- Understanding of authentication and security domain in web and mobile applications.
- Educates team in the business domain.
- Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams.
- Experience supporting/rolling out software. Proactively validate with the users the added value and identify new opportunities, features and improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive the squad as the Product Owner representative. Providing the purpose, context and direction to the team.
- Throughout the product development to create requirements in the forms of Themes, Epics and Stories and facilitates backlog refinement sessions.
- You take on an additional role as customer journey expert designing the processes, and detailing the specifications together with others members of the squad. Readying product backlog items, and validate them accordingly once developed.
- Backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the features and user stories.
- Partnering with the Area Product Owner and peers (representatives of other squads) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new features.
- Providing an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Understanding knowledge of the domain, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
- Represents the end users, interfaces and engages the end users.
