Our Banking client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Product Owner to join their Edinburgh based team for 6 months initial contract.

The successfully candidate will have previous banking experience as well as the following skills:

*Works with the product manager/business to define the features of the product
*Facilitates and/or participates in requirement gathering workshops
*Ensures that the Team works with the right things from a business perspective
*Maintains the Backlog (requirements list)
*Prioritises requirements
*Identify and coordinate dependencies between requirements.
*Participates in planning meetings
*Participates in the team's discussions, impediment and risk identification
*Adjust priorities as more is learnt
*Accepts or rejects requirements
*Point of "Acceptance" for completed work
*Setting objectives for the Build team goals
*Participates in refining the release objectives
*Understand and allows investment in defects, refactoring etc.
*Supports release planning activities and objectives
*De-risks Product Manager sign off of the deliverable by continuous engagement, show/tell etc.
