Product Optimization Manager

Projektbeschreibung
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Basel, is looking for dynamic candidates for a Product Optimization Manager role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify Product Optimization related competitor activities
- Contribute to the preparation of the formulation/device related sections of pre-LIP Target Product Profile (TPP)
- Coordinate Market Research with external agencies to support preparation of business cases for new technologies/opportunities
- Prepare agendas and minutes for Product Evaluation Team meetings
- Support preparing SOP and Guidance Documents related to Product Optimization activities
- Conduct ad hoc literature reviews for new/or ongoing product evaluations
- Elaborate commercial impact of technology advancements
- Develop strategic insights and provide in-depth product and marketplace analysis to support decision making
- Support creating of robust, globally aligned, long-term forecasts for new formulation/device opportunities
- Work closely with counterparts in the affiliates where required to align forecast assumptions
- Deliver results in a timely manner with high level of accuracy striving to exceed expectations
IDEAL PROFILE
- University degree in Business/Marketing/Economics or Science (PhD is a plus)
- At least 5 years of experience in Global Analytical role within industries operating in the pharmaceutical sector or consulting firm for pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, including established expertise in long-term forecasting and primary market research.
- Basis understanding of Drug Development is required
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication skills, project management
- Flexible and adaptable team player
- Good commercial understanding and awareness
- Fluent in English; Other languages are a plus
- PC literacy: MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.) are a must; Confidence with databases (IMS, Citeline, Thomson, Evaluate Pharma) is a plus
