Product Operations Manager required by leading financial client.

Location can be either Coventry (Westwood) or London (Canary Wharf)

Rate is £400-550/day

Contract runs initially until May 2015

Role purpose

To manage the back book products and to evolve this proposition from one of complex and relatively high risk process complexity to simple, transparent and instant products which are fully in line with current and future regulatory requirements.

Role accountabilities

*To have strong understanding of regulation and regulatory risk as well as how to apply the values to product management.

*To analyse and deliver appropriate MI, Business continuity and risk management to all of the current products and to those as they pass from new product delivery into the BAU processes.

*To respond and deliver solutions to regulatory and product requirements which are simple and robust for today and the future and ensure that no products processes create customer detriment or organisational risk.

*To update all customer and colleague communications and reference points to ensure accurate information is portrayed in a customer friendly way on all colleague and customer sites/communications.

*To create robust on-going processes which ensure as new change evolves these are appropriately picked up in all areas.

*To complete the Group Product review and all other requirements within de-risking where product/SME expertise is required to deliver the full de-risking agenda including the implementation of product and cost reduction initiatives.

*Understand senior stakeholder requirements in order to deliver the requirements for the key stakeholders whilst managing priorities across the needs.

*Write (and potentially present) regular reports, reflecting insight and solutions based on analysis, to be submitted to key BB council representatives and the Council itself for ratification.

*To share accountability & management of requests for discretionary pricing from the network via the Pricing Desk, meeting or exceeding SLAs on turnaround of requests, and supporting with performance MIsuccessfully designed/implemented/managed change programmes and/or processes
Experience at working in a strong regulatory environment with huge attention to the detail.
Detailed working knowledge of the full range of business disciplines eg Compliance, risk, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of prevailing regulatory expectations and practices in the market.
Good understanding of key financial/commercial business models across product/segment with a particular focus on the regulation but not at the cost of customer profit and loss.
