Product Manager - Risk/Trading Platforms - London

ROLE INFO

The Product Management group is responsible for bringing to market in a phased approach three commercial offerings. During the development and release of these products the group will focus on both the commercial evolution and the User experience associated with each phase, assessing market feedback and incorporating it appropriately into the next delivery phase.

The client has designed the overall product to take to market, the PM will be responsible for a component within the larger offering. Managing the vendor community on behalf of the BU who have designed the requirements at a high level.

Individuals within the group face off to the Business Users in order to accurately represent their interests and deliverables within the technology build. Through the development and control of a Feature Roadmap the PdM group will influence the phased deliverables through liaison with BAs and technical writers who are responsible for driving the requirements with three separate vendors. Negotiation of priorities and compliance with the overall Program delivery are essential to the success of the Offerings.

ROLE ESSENTIALS SKILLS:

An understanding of technical Risk Management and previous experience of Product Management would enable the candidate to effectively manage the shifting delivery schedule of the Offering Features while negotiating through the obligations of three vendor builds.  The ability to understand and articulate the implications of priorities on behalf of the Business User are essential.
