Product Manager/Product Owner/Product Lead

The Senior Product Manager will work to the Executive Product Manager, TV Platforms, to define, create, and maintain pan-genre products for television and web based solutions. You will use your expertise in media and technology to promote platform capabilities and opportunities to internal stakeholders.

Working within the TV Platforms area of the Platform Group, this role will be focussed on product managing the 'Connected Red Button' product for IP-connected televisions, identified as a key strategic priority for the 2014/15 financial year.

Work anticipated for the period of the role of advertised includes expanding the reach of the product through manufacturer partnerships and certification, enhancing the product feature set and improving the performance of the product alongside other connected TV products, such as Sport and News.

Experience Required

- Significant experience of working in a new media environment
- Good knowledge of industry standard product management skills, with understanding of product life cycle and proven delivery of consumer products
- High degree of Internet and computer literacy
- Ability to work in partnership and actively collaborate with colleagues across the organisation
- Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate complex processes at all levels. Experience of presenting innovative ideas in order to secure senior management and strategic support
