Product Manager Payments

Our customer in Brussels is looking for a Product Manager to strengthen the Product management team (payments). The department has organized its products around different areas of expertise within the electronic payments industry, at this moment we are looking for a product manager for our inter-bank payments products. You will join a global team of payments experts who manage the R ensures revenue and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Owns the roadmap of the relevant product family
- Defines functional requirements
- Defines the roadmap timeline with agreement of Head of Products and the related Product Development Manager
- Follows industry trends for the product area, keeps Head of Products and Technical Marketing informed
- Gets input from multiple sources and prioritizes the product feature set accordingly by keeping in mind the product family's vision and budget
- external stakeholders: customers, competition, market, forums, etc
- Internal stakeholders: Sales, development, delivery, management, etc teams
- Participates in User Groups (as Subject Matter Expert)
- Creates Product Definition Documents (description, business case) as required as input for the Software Development Process
- Controls and ensures the Financial Performance
- Can organize or join a Product Steering Committee
- Can participate in bid reviews
- Can participate in presales activities
- Participates in the catch-up meeting with Head of Products

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree level education.
- Financial Services software product management/development background desirable.
- At least 5 years experience in financial software delivery.
- Flexibility in working hours and travel
