Our client is a major international telecoms organisation.
PRODUCT INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE CONSULTANT (METADATA, PDM)
You will work in an innovative team as a consultant.
Your responsibilities include:
- Principles and processes for the collecting and handling of Configuration related
metadata (contract/production/delivery/site and installed base configuration) to achieve end to end traceability. - Specify and decide which metadata that should be regarded as generic and be placed in the PDM environment, and which data that is connected to product individuals or are service or site specific and by this should be added in the separate support system for the Installed Base.
- Specification of which types of business related Product Data that shall be collected from the Sales, Order and Installation processes and be stored in the Installed Base management system.
- Specification of which types of generic Product Data that shall be collected from the designers PDM system to be transferred to the separate system for the handling of the Installed Base.
- Specification of which types of individual Product Data from the supply systems for Traceability etc to be transferred to the separate system for the handling of the Installed Base.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years experiences in information management area, especially in supply chain and installed base area. Experience from product data management is desired but not essential.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
Well organized and structured.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ALL RELEVANT PERMISSIONS TO WORK WITHIN THE EU TO BE CONSIDERED.
