For our banking client in Zürich we are currently searching for a Product financial manager and controller

Role overview:

A challenging position in our Finance and Controlling Team within Credit Suisse Real Estate Asset Management

Take over the responsibility as Production Financial Manager for selected real Estate Fund a/o Mandate in the very fast growing international business.

Country controlling, including responsibility to review and manage the monthly reporting and cash flow of the property companies

Perform the bi-annual consolidation in COGNOs and drive, co-ordinate and monitor the meeting of reporting deadlines of the group audit.

Manage VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance of the property companies with the support of local business partners/consultants.

Perform mortgage solutions with various banks, participation in internal finance projects

Manage and support the financial due diligence process of potential property acquisitions, incorporating new subsidiaries, ensuring an efficient integration of new operations insofar accounting, reporting, tax compliance and cash management

Manage and oversee the statutory audits and address country-specific issues with the external auditors for the property companies

Active participation in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes

The positions will require international travelling of about 5%

Requirements:

- Recently qualified CPA/CA or a qualified accountant with completed auditor in training articles
- More than 3 years experience of hands on experience in a comparable international environment preferably with a BIG 4 company or a Multi-National company
- Solid Accounting basis, knowledge of international accounting standards as well as Swiss GAAP is a Benefit.
- Experience in the use of consolidation software, preferably familiar with COGNOS
- Confident in dealing with external auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities and a Matrix organisation.
- Exposure to due diligence processes for the acquisition of real estate is regarded beneficial- Familiar with internal control frameworks (ICS or SOX) within an international business environment.
- Ability to work independently and set own priorities, take ownership of assigned tasks and integrate well into a small team.
- International real estate experience is regarded as beneficial
