Product Development Scientist Job

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST needed for a LONG TERM TEMPORARY opportunity with Yoh's client located near Gilroy, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Product Development Scientist will work with a cross functional team to develop new products.
- Product Development Scientist will employ bacterial and yeast media, buffers and reagents for protein and DNA purification to reach specific goals.
- Product Development Scientist will assign and determine proper GHS classifications and determine pot regulations.
- Product Development Scientist will interpret and analyze data sets to optimize yields and fine tune processes.
- Product Development Scientist will operate as a self-directed individual as well as a team member in a variety of projects to analyze, organize and present Regulatory Documentation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Biology, Chemical Engineering or related subject matter.
- MINIMUM of three (3+) years of experience in an industrial or research setting.
- Working knowledge of regulatory documentation and prior experience maintaining data and documentation.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques used for gene cloning, PCR and other techniques.
- Experience in protein purification, SDS PAGE, His-tag, and other techniques.
- Superb communication and writing skills.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MS Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related subject matter
