PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/ORTHOPAEDICS
On behalf of our client, an international company specialized in the medical devices we are looking for a PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER with expertise in design and development of ORTHOPAEDIC DEVICES.
The position is based in Zuchwil, it is a contract starting ASAP until end of December 2015, with an option to extend.
In this position the PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will be responsible for:
- the design and development of new instruments in ORTHOPAEDICS, TRAUMA/CMF AND/OR SPINE
- responsible for improvements and modifications of already existing implants and instrumentations
- will participate in new product development projects
- will work closely together with experts (surgeons, sales and market development teams)
- will collaborate with technical engineering teams to generate product models, layouts and complete testing requirements using various CAD software.
YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- Very good experience in PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT of medical devices
- Experience in designing and developing new orthopaedics products
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in medical device industry£
- Very good experience working with CAD software
- Fluent in ENGLISH, any additional language would be a plus
