PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - MEDICAL DEVICES
On behalf of our client, an international company specialized in medical devices based in Solothurn area, we are looking for a PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER with fluent English and German skills. It is a contracting position starting January 2016 until end of June 2016.
In this position the PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will be responsible for the maintenance of existing implants and instruments as well as ensure the maintenance of existing Technical File and Design History File documentation. In this challenging project, you will write Standard Evaluation EN ISO 14630:2012/EN ISO 14602:2011 and also write Design and Clinical Risk Management. Working in a medical device environment as a Product Development Engineer, you will have a close cooperation with internal departments and international authorities such as to ensure a conscientious compliance with Medical Device Regulations (EU MDD, US FDA, JP PAL etc.)
YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- A higher degree in Engineering
- Previous work experience within a global environment
- Proven experience in writing documentation/TECHNICAL FILE AND DESIGN HISTORY FILE DOCUMENTATION in regards to ISO 14630:2012/ISO 14602:2011; GMP standards; Medical Device Regulations (EU MDD, US FDA, JP PAL etc.)
- Creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills and strong leadership ability
- ENGLISH AND GERMAN BOTH FLUENT
