PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER, BASEL AREA - MEDICAL DEVICES (MD)
Are you a Product Development Engineer with proven experience in THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL DEVICES OR PHARMACEUTICALS and currently looking for a new exciting role within a medical devices environment? If so, please have a look at the following information.
Experis Switzerland, a leading Swiss Services company is currently on the search for a Product Development Engineer to join one of their clients, a global and well renowned company specialized in medical devices and based in the Basel area.
For this temporary assignment starting from July until the end of the year with an option of an extension, we are in search of a GERMAN & ENGLISH speaking candidate who is available on a short notice period.

In this position the PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will be responsible for the remediation of existing Risk Management documentation (ie Design & Clinical Risk Management, Risk Management Report and Risk Management Plan) to the Product Risk Management Process.
YOU BRING THE MAIN QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
- A IN ENGINEERING (or science)
- 3 OR MORE YEARS' EXPERIENCE in THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL DEVICES or pharmaceuticals
- Strong background in PRODUCT RISK MANAGEMENT with experience in creation, review and approval of risk management documentation (ie DFMEAS AND PFMEAS)
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Good ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH FLUENCY IN ENGLISH AND GERMAN
