Product Development Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Product Development Engineer to work for an organisation based in East Sussex. Salary circa £35,000.

You will be working for an organisation that produce magnetic drive pumps for the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries. They have been established for 66 years in total and are part of a £3.2 billion owned organisation.

Your primary role will be to produce engineering designs and conduct engineering calculations in accordance with pressure vessel codes and other structural calculation methods.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

- Strong engineering background with experience in creating and analysing engineering solutions, build test equipment and carry out investigating testing.
- Hands on 3D CAD modelling experience using NX or similar systems.
- Mathematically capable and competent of conducting design calculations.

It would also be desirable if you have experience in :

- Rotating machinery
- Electro-mechanical
- Bearings knowledge
