Product Development Actuary

A brand new contract within the Actuarial industry, working for a fantastic Insurance firm. This is a 3 month contract to start very shortly, working as Product Development Actuary. My client is looking for someone with Life Insurance Pricing experience who is interested in working in a dynamic team.

The tasks of this role include:

The individual will support the current Heads of Product Development in Group Insurance in:

- Developing the customer value for money frameworks including creating the relevant customer outcome criteria and setting standards for these criteria appropriate to each market
- Comparing customer outcomes for insurance products to those of substitute products under these criteria
- Piloting the frameworks within key markets
- Providing product redesign support for those products which need revision to fall in line with the new framework
- Carrying out an impact assessment against revenue and profit for the relevant product redesigns
