Product Design Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

PLANNING & DESIGN

KEY ACTIVITIES WITHIN EACH AREA

- Gather and record product requirements regarding features, functionality, workflow, and user interface by analysing business processes and documents, conducting interviews, requirements workshops, and surveys, and attending site visits.
- Review and evaluate competitive products to understand strengths and weaknesses of the features and functionality of those products.
- Convey requirements to the Engineering team using approved company processes.
- Ensure user experience of end product meets the original intent and is of the highest quality.
- Develop customer-focused product design strategies working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote consistency within the look and feel of the product and online-help capabilities of the product.­­
- Develop and maintain requirements documentation for projects as assigned.

COMMUNICATIONS/TEAM WORK

- Work collaboratively with all members of the organization.
- Work independently on assigned tasks and keep the Directors, Managers, and Team Leads informed of progress.
- Consult with Domain Experts, Product Managers, and Engineering as required.
- Interface and work collaboratively with project management, quality assurance, customer support, and other team members.
