Product Delivery Manager - Payments/Credit Cards

Banking client in Northampton require a Product Delivery Manager to work on a 3 months contract paying £550/day. You will be responsible for the delivery of key strategic initiatives (including 3rd party change delivery).

You will be responsible for delivery of change associated with products and services including:
*Management and Implementation of small and medium changes to new products and services (£0k to £500k) aligned to the product development roadmaps
*Assisting in the implementation of major changes to products and services
*Work with business-side clients to produce clear sets of requirements which enable the business to realise their required benefits
*Oversee the delivery of pragmatic business and operational design solutions which maximise benefits while achieving the desired business outcomes
*Assess and design new business change processes, systems, products and services on a change project
*Resolving product and service failures by identifying root causes and putting resolutions in place
*Managing effectiveness metrics of projects and services
*Endorsing system parameter changes where they impact customers, products and services
*Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement approaches, including Lean
*Measuring efficiency and cost savings through continuous improvement methods
*Supporting the planning of the Change portfolio
*Contributing to platform programme in terms of subject matter expertise and supporting business preparations
*To ensure that internal controls are in place to safeguard the customer experience
*Ensuring delivery is done to time, cost and quality
*Ensuring that products and services comply with internal and external regulatory requirements

DELIVERY OF CHANGE 80%
*Delivery of business change. Planning and implementing changes to products and services to meet business, regulatory and compliance requirements
*Resolving operational service issues as they arise
*Identification of enhancements/developments and delivery of cost reductions
*Resolution of day-to-day queries regarding the implementation of the product set
*Directly support the platform change programme and its successful business implementation
*Identify enhancements/developments and delivery of cost reductions
*Work closely with customers and colleagues to analyse the performance of the existing product set and identify and recommend new solutions to stakeholders
*Monitor change related service level agreements with suppliers
*Develop and implement new business change processes, systems, products and services
*Manage interdependencies across projects/programmes and leverage synergies across projects/programmes to maximise return on investment.
*Review the to-be business process design to understand organisation/role impacts and create role descriptions for business process roles

Experience Required:

*Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques
*Requirements gathering and elicitation
*Ability to manage relationships
*Good customer awareness
*An ability to rapidly get to the root cause of a problem and identify actions to resolve
*Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to gain commitment from senior stakeholders.
*Strong influencing and negotiating skills to deliver objectives
*Strong commercial and financial skills
*Strong and proven track record in Project Management and delivery of change
*Good knowledge of the payment card business
*Good knowledge of project management tools and techniques
*Experienced in implementing new products and services
*Familiar with Value Based Management (VBM) principles
*Good knowledge of regulatory and governance standards
*Customer orientated - understands how our internal activities affect our customers
*Knowledge of our products and services, the minimum requirements for them and how they have been implemented on our technology platforms
*Experience of continuous improvement and problem solving techniques
*Strong customer awareness
*An ability to rapidly get to the root cause of a problem and identify actions to resolve
*Communication, presentation and ability to gain commitment from senior stakeholders
*Ability to manage relationships and work effectively in a Matrix
*Attention to detail
*Extensive project management experience
*Prince2 Practitioner certified
