PIM - Product Data Program Manager - CPG - Retail

Excellent contract opportunity for a Product Data Program Manager based in London for a initial 3 month contract.

Skill set as follows required:

8+ years experience in program management
3+ years experience in CPG or Retail Product Data Management, implementing a Product Information Management system

Project

Our client is looking to assess the business case for implementing a Product Information Management (PIM) system into their new eCommerce estate, based on the need for managing multiple SKUs and categories in multiple languages across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will be working as part of the client IT team, managing the IT aspects of the engagement, from business case and technology impact, through technology selection and defining the target data model, into the delivery of the project workstream itself (should the business case be positive and the definition phase be successful)
Main role responsibilities - (provide overview of the role and duties required)
Work as part of the client team, with the business, to understand the different business objectives and challenges
Define the high level plan for the workstream
Deliver the first Discovery Phase of the plan, alongside the business team and business project manager
Report status and RAID into the Program leadership

Person spec

Experience with PIM systems
Significant business facing consulting experience
Experience with large product data models and volumes of data
Experience with multi-vendor selections processes

Additional info

Anyone with experience of similar projects at other CPG organizations (HP, Nikon, Epson, Samsung, Sony, Apple) or Retail Organisations (Curry's, Dixons, CPW, John Lewis, etc)
