Product Data Management (PDM) Analyst Job

PRODUCT DATA MANAGEMENT (PDM) ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client DURHAM, NC.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Manage and execute product data set up for new and current items in the SAP-PDM (Product Data Management) system for Glad Packaging projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Independently manage the Product Data Management portion of large projects, ensuring all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead clean-up efforts within Glad packaging to determine out of date specs, recipes and materials and ensure they are obsolete.
- Participate in Product Data Management scoping discussions enabling Packaging R&D to plan projects accordingly. Lead scoping sessions for straight forward brand maintenance, rapid response and/or select customization projects. Recognize the connection between Recipe Management and the Clorox Production environment (SAP R3) and its impact on new projects. Utilize this knowledge to assist in scoping sessions and otherwise drive to correct Recipe management set-ups.
- Lead system and process improvement initiatives through the PDM Steering and Huddle teams. Collaborate with the PDM COE on process improvements and actively participate on the PDM Super User Team, PDM Huddle and the PDM Steering Committee.
- Identify and resolve data accuracy issues by analysing the problem, assessing the possible solutions and determining the best solution to ensure consistency throughout the PDM system.
- This job will require training on Recipe Management/PDM and SAP
- Will be entering information into PDM from another source which stores the collected and refined data therefore excellent computer skills required
- Identifying any anomalies in data structure will be important so attention to detail is necessary
- Data to enter will be for all types of specifications- raw materials, packaging components, formulas, consumer units, inner packs and master cases and will include attaching certain documents and drawings

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree highly preferred
- COMPUTER SKILLS INCLUDING WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SAP-ERP AND MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE OF PRODUCTS (OUTLOOK, EXCEL, ETC.)
- ABILITY TO ANALYZE DATA FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES (SAP, RECIPE MANAGEMENT, ETC) AND DRIVE TO ACCURATE DATA TO BE COMMUNICATED TO OUTSIDE SOURCES.
- Process oriented individual with excellent analytical, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Communicate and interact effectively with multiple groups in multiple remote locations
