Projektbeschreibung

My Client, a leading Retail bank, is looking for an experienced Product Controller to be the central Controller with the business' Derivatives Redress Programme.

Core Responsibilities:

- Daily reporting of redress, including reconciliation to ledger, provision and legal documents
- Weekly P&L and MI reporting
- Monthly P&L and MI reporting
- Monthly provisioning
- Working closely with other departments to provide information relating to the redress and provision
- Oversee/perform production, analysis, explanation and reporting of the daily trading profit and loss
- Balance Sheet & P&L reporting and associated controls
- Weekly P&L reporting, including presentation of P&Ls and related information
- Drive the agenda for the month end close supporting the accelerated close initiative to ensure that our reporting requirements are met on a timely basis
- Collation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Work closely with traders to understand their trading strategies and risks

Requirements:

- A solid and extensive understanding of the financial markets and products traded within them.
- High level of desire and ability to follow up and resolve issues.
- Industry experience in a product control environment of mark-to-market derivatives
- Understanding of derivatives pricing, P&L calculation and valuation variables
- Managed preparation of daily balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Ability to multi-task: working on several projects and delivering results consistently
- Capacity to innovate and improve upon the effectiveness, efficiency and scalability of the existing processes
- Advanced skills in using Excel
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Established understanding of balance sheet substantiation and co-ordination of a month end reporting schedule
- Managed preparation of daily balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
