Product Controller - Gas & Power

An Associate Product Controller is required for a 9 month project with a  Global commodity organisation. The individual will need experience working within the energy market, particularly gas and power.

Key responsibilities

- Produce daily reconciliations of the power PnL and position ensuring timely and accurate
- Working with internal systems
- To maintain a strong control environment
- Daily independent PnL and position production/analysis including variance analysis 
- PnL review with desk approval (daily sign-off of PnL and position with KPIs for management)
- To review significant transactions and manual PnL adjustments to ensure PnL accuracy
- Communicate well with the Middle Office, Front Office and operations
- Timely and accurate production of the UK and European Power PnL & VAR
- Effective and efficient daily PnL and position process
- Analytical review of the PnL with variance analysis and commentaries.
