Product Controller - Commodities

My client a leading Investment bank is currently looking for a Product Controller with strong skills within Commodities.

The team supports the Commodities Divisions Investor Business desk and Structured Notes program.

Responsibilities include

- Manage the review, reconciliation and analysis of daily P&L
- Manage the month end close reconciliation and signoff process
- Serve as a point of contact for traders regarding P&L analysis and reporting
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly P&L and market commentaries to explain significant P
- 3-4 years experience in financial control and accounting
- Organized professional with people and process management experience
- Preferred experience within an organization that trades commodities
- Understanding of derivative instruments including futures, swaps, and options
- Risk awareness and the ability to challenge items and think in a control focused manner
- Logical thought process and the ability to critically assess and evaluate problems
- Experience in Excel and Access
