PRODUCT CONTROL - STRUCTURED PRODUCTS - ZURICH - CONTRACT - BANKING
M y Client, are a globally known Private bank based in the Heart of Zurich a short walk from the train station & a 20 minute ride from the airport. They are looking for someone to join there structured products control team which sits in the Middle Office but this role has a heavy interaction with the traders whoch are a team of 15 in this department. The real concept of this position will be structuring new instruments across all asset classes in the trading system and ensuring they agree to final product specifications. 12 month Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor, analyse and control the market risk of new issued structured products
- Resolve and explain daily FOBO (Front v Back) reconciliation items
- Prepare hedge and scenario analysis for issued structured Products and resolve any exceptions
- Analyse and explain all cashflows including interest, coupons, option premiums and final redemptions
- Prepare and analyse New Issue Structured Products daily P&L and deliver final P&L to Risk Management
- Prepare Structured Products redemption scenarios for Trading and Back Office
- Book out final position of matured products from trading portfolio and ensure no deviation in portfolio P&L
- Monitor, calculate and make the necessary amendments in trading system for Corporate Actions
- Various month end tasks including reporting to senior management
- Daily interaction with Trading & Sales as well as Risk Management, Back Office and Treasury
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years banking experience, preferably within a product control or trading environment
- Good understanding of derivatives, trade flows and respective systems
- Advanced Excel skills, basic programming skills would be beneficial
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Analytical thinking
- Risk awareness
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels
