Product Control Manager - Rates/Treasury

My client, a leading Banking institution, is looking for a Senior Product Controller who has significant experience with Rates products, notably in terms of trade booking. The role requires candidates to secure a clear control environment whilst understanding and reporting on any balance sheet and PnL movements to Senior Management.

Requirements

*Detailed understanding of Rates Products including swaps, futures, options.
*Accounting Qualification (pref).
*Strong IT skills in Excel/VBA/SQL (pref)
*Industry experience within financial markets.
*Preparation of daily balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
*Established understanding of balance sheet substantiation and co-ordination of a month end reporting schedule.

Responsibilities

*Production of Daily Pnl and associated MI.
*Attribution of Daily Pnl and commentary.
*Month end accounting including journal preparation and account reconciliations.
*Involvement in change initiatives to improve efficiency and or attribution quality.
*Review of new deals and deal adjustments with a focus on Summit reconciliations and trade bookings.
