Product Control Manager, Fixed Income, Accountant

My client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a strong Fixed Income product control Manager.

Responsibilities:
*Manage a team of 5 people in UK and 3 offshore, dealing with the production and reporting of daily risk attributed P&L and commentary on key drivers of P&L by attribution.
*Project Experience key
*Senior stakeholder management (Director, Global Head)
*Discussion of daily P&L with the trading desk and obtaining their sign off on a daily basis
*Performance of key controls activities including investigation of Flash vs formal P&L variance, P&L breaks/reconciliation, front to back breaks/reconciliation, etc
*Review of balance sheet and explaining key drivers for month on month moves
*Provision of MI and other key information for senior management review (including P&L delivery and desk sign off stats, costs summary, reserve movements and commentaries).
*Support ad hoc requests from the trading desk and infrastructure groups relating to new trade/product valuation, systems or markets
*Testing and analysis in relation to roll out of new products and systems
*Continuous identification and elimination of inefficiencies in the existing processes

Skills/Experience:
*Accountant (ACA, CIMA, other)
*Framework and controls experience an advantage
*8-10 years+ of experience within Product control
