Product Compliance Engineer Job

PRODUCT COMPLIANCE ENGINEER needed for a 12 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Schenectady, NY.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Candidate will drive all tasks related to compliance for applicable country standards for assigned products.
- Ability to research international standards and create product requirements for the team.
- Some technical writing may be required.
- He/she will provide leadership on assigned projects to ensure all stakeholders understand safety and certification requirements
- Support project proposal development as it relates to defining the scope of safety and certification requirements
- Lead engineering and project tasks associated with performing:
- Tracking of safety and certification requirement
- Safety Analysis
- Evaluating design verification/validation data
- Work closely with project management, internal engineers, external regulators, and external certification agencies
- Provide regular updates to project managers as well as engineering and business leaders

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS degree in Engineering. (Ideally Electrical Engineering); Will consider Associate's degree with seven (7) plus years of experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in a Safety, Compliance, Systems, Design or Product Engineering position
- ISO experience
- Experience testing commercial products
