Product Compliance and Safety Coordinator

For an innovative high-tech organization (The Hague Area), we are looking for a Product Compliance and Safety Coordinator.

You will be responsible for the overall compliance of products towards applicable standards for the EV market. You will also be monitoring and participating in regulatory initiatives and represent EV in communicating the company's viewpoints to the regulatory bodies, trade organisations and their customer base.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring the Product Requirements Specification, taking into account relevant and applicable Safety and EV Specific Requirements.
- Participate in Global SteCo and Project Reviews, ensuring the product implementation is aligned with the applicable standards.
- Participate in cross-functional teams, make strategic recommendations and product priority decisions.
- Being responsible for the pre-certification of products.
- Supporting the partners with your product compliance expertise.
- Searching for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

- PhD Electrical Engineering or MSc. with relevant professional work experience.
- 10+ years experience in industrial R&D
- Understanding Low Voltage Standards and Directives.
- Strong leadership skills.
