Product Assurance Quality Manager

My client in Belgium a earth orbiting electronics company are seeking a Product quality assurance manager to help work on a project which focusses on the electronics of a satellite based project. This will last for 3 months initially.

You will need to be strong in interfacing with the subcontractors and customers and be the person who ensures the quality and audit of products, equipment, contracts supply chain and other industry/project related topics. A background in electronics or understanding electronic equipment of parts for space satellites are a huge benefit.

Duties

Procurement plan quality contract and a direct liaison with the supply chain manager, quality requirements, equipment supplier sourcing/selection

Auditing suppliers

Hands on experience of qualifying electronic components fit for purpose.

Quality assurance of products ensuring that certification is in line with processes.

Handling non conformance

Performing inspections on the companies sub-contractors

Experience of dealing with different test equipment and ensuring audits for suppliers and met

A background in electronics or electronic equipment.

Ideally you will come from an electronics background or ideally have a space/Earth observation knowledge
