Product Associate Job

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PITTSBURGH, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Maintains compliance with quality standards and assembles components into finished products.
- Ability to read engineering schematics to ensure the proper execution of wiring projects/assignments.
- Under direct supervision, performs specific manufacturing tasks including mechanical assembly and wiring.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Practices safe working skills and follows safety procedures at all times
- Manufactures using basic hand and power tools.
- Installs/attaches wires to various components of drive units in accordance with company practices and standards using schematics.
- Verifies correct components, wire color, gauge and schematic when manufacturing.
- Prints wire identification labels as per schematic and checks to ensure that wires and identification numbers match schematics.
- Maintains quality standards per company policies/procedures for correct, neat, and orderly wiring.
- Ensures that wire markers are visible and legible
- Completes tasks on time and with quality workmanship.
- Follows company housekeeping and 5s guidelines
- Basic use of the computer for training and timekeeping purposes
- Maintain reliable attendance with minimal tardiness and abide by company policy
- Other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Diploma or Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or related field or high school diploma/GED
- One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment performing semi-skilled assembly tasks, including industrial wiring.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge.
- Maintain reliable attendance with minimal tardiness and abide by company policy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manipulate small objects with hands.
