Product Application Debug Engineer

PRODUCT APPLICATION DEBUG ENGINEER will solve issues with root causing customer issues in server manageability products.

Duties may include support for power management of Servers, methodologies to debug server platforms and other new and emerging server manageability features for various customer segments such as enterprise, HPC, and data centers. Responsibilities include resolving and tracking customer issues related to the manageability firmware on customer designs, involving BIOS, Drivers, Hardware and other platform components, and developing/supporting documents and application notes. The engineer is expected to reproduce issues on customer/internal platform, analyze logs and trace the root cause.

EXPERIENCE

- OS skills, especially in Linux
- Should know at least one Scripting language, Python preferred, secondary PERL or BASH
- Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI desirable
- IPMI experience strongly desired
- Must be comfortable doing system builder type tasks (installing memory/CPU, etc.)
- Familiarity with SPI Flash strongly desired
