Prodcution Controller - Works Order Creation

The task is to use the Visual ERP system to compile "Engineering Masters" for electronic and electro-mechanical products. NB. An Engineering Master is the Bills of Materials and manufacturing operations task list that is required to generate a Works order Traveller for product going onto the factory floor.

Responsible for the checking of the Bills of Materials in the system; reviewing the drawings/documentation and identifying the Part References ("Find Numbers") to add to the Visual
BoMs and the addition of standard and product specific operation sequences
Responsible for the checking and approval of other Engineering Masters created by the team

Skills and experience:

- Experience of MRP and/or ERP business systems.
- Good organisational, clerical and data entry skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Understanding of an engineering and manufacturing environment using configuration control and a basic understanding of how electronic and electro-mechanical products are assembled and tested
- Understanding of Works Order creation and their use in a manufacturing environment
- Typically will have experience in a technical clerk or production controller role similar within and engineering or manufacturing company using MRP or ERP business system
