Our Public Sector Client requires a Procurement Unit Manager for a 6 month contract based in Central London offering £595pd.

You will be working on a major project, reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager.

ESSENTIAL:
- Experience in ICT Procurement and Public Sector Procurement processes
- CIPS Qualified
- Line management experience

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- working with the category and contract teams in defining all contract management activity in scope
- engaging with suppliers and supporting stakeholder relationships
- assisting the administration of contracts; and resolving all escalated contractual disputes and issue
- sustain continuity of service by supporting the delivery of supplies and services into front-line and headquarters operations, including courts, prisons and tribunals
- Providing additional required procurement support to HQ
- Engage with suppliers and supporting stakeholder relationships;
- Assist the administration of contracts;
- Resolving all escalated contractual disputes and issues;
- Sustain continuity of service by supporting the delivery of supplies and services into front-line and headquarters operations, including courts, prisons and tribunals were relevant;
- Support any additional ad-hoc sourcing requirements for HQ & ALB ICT
- Manage a team of 6 contract and sourcing managers Specific Objectives Relating to HQ & ALB projects
