Procurement Transition Manager/Contracts Manager

PROCUREMENT TRANSITION MANAGER/CONTRACTS MANAGER

Our client, a leading Technology and Engineering company, is recruiting for a Procurement Transition Manager, to be based in Hemel Hempstead, on an initial 3 month contract, with a possibility for extension.

Background;

- Contract separation work as a result of Northgate Public Services sale
- Investigative work on existing contracts
- Engagement of legal services
- Co-ordinating the contract separation
- Assisting with the Head of Procurement (being recruited at the moment)
- Working to build new procurement team from scratch
- Project management
- Experience of contract separation and procurement
- Experience with IT industry procurement experience
- Engaging with external suppliers and internal teams
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders and other internal and external teams (legal especially)

Key Experience;

1) IT Procurement expertise

2) Project Management experience

3) Strong stakeholder management and ability to face off to external and internal teams
