*procurement Systems Officer - Edinburgh - 11 Months

*PROCUREMENT SYSTEMS OFFICER - EDINBURGH - 11 MONTHS - £100 - £140 PD.*

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Systems Officer to work with one of our Edinburgh based Public Sector clients for an initial 11 month contract.

The successful candidate will be required to support users and contracted supplier in the creation of electronic catalogues. The role manages supplier content and maintains robust information to enable the delivery of an electronic catalogue management system which meets business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with suppliers and support them in the creation and maintenance of electronic catalogues
- Create and manage catalogue content within the system
- Create product codes for inventory and ensure product codes and supplier product codes match
- Work closely with catalogue suppliers for initial catalogue implementation and on going support of all catalogues
- To support the implementation team to deliver a successful ePS solution

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

- Previous experience providing users and suppliers with guidance and support on eProcurement and Inventory applications
- Knowledge and experience of eProcurement Systems including the support and accurate upload of information from catalogues to produce electronic catalogues
- Experience of inventory and product code management would be desirable
