Projektbeschreibung

A Renewable Energy Client is looking for a Procurement Support, to focus on offshore wind projects in the south UK. This role will be starting in December 2015 on a 12 months contract. The Procurement Support will work independently on site procuring low value items and consumables and assisting engineers, and co-ordinate with the main team at the UK headquarters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Input to contract placement forecast and define strategy,
- Draft and implement standard set of tender documents and standard Procurement procedures to make Procurement process as efficient as possible,
- Determine contract form to be used together with Legal Department,
- Carry out market analysis for different goods and services,
- Co-ordinate completion of the commercial sections of the tender documents between Procurement, Technical Department and Legal Department,
- Issue tender documents and act as single point of contact for external suppliers through tender phase through to contract placement,
- Evaluate the commercial sections of tender returns and quotations,
- Organise, lead and keep record of negotiations,
- Interface with Commercial Team (insurances), Legal Department (legal aspects), Finance (Bonds) and HSSE before contract execution,
- Manage interface between commercial and technical contract parts,
- Prepare, present and drive contract award decision process,
- Notify all contract award decisions and rejections to suppliers,
- Communicate contractual milestones, actions, risks and other requirements to relevant persons,
- Create and archive orders in SAP,
- Archive original contracts and distribute hardcopies to relevant persons, if required,
- Organise and lead commercial claim negotiations (change request procedure),
- Liaise with Risk Manager and provide input to claim register and project management tool,
- Ensure Management Instruction Procurement and other policy requirements are followed,
- Liaise with Project Manager and Technical Package Managers,
- Liaise with Procurement Category Managers for respective packages,
- Update contract placements (future commitments) regularly together with the respective Package Manager.

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Fluent in English.
- University degree (or equivalent) and extensive procurement work experience.
- First-hand experience in drafting and negotiating major contracts.
- A detailed understanding of risk and interface management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at a high level with internal and external communication makers.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- High performance and results focus and a willingness to implement change.
- Strong focus on cost reduction and risk mitigation.
- A detailed understanding of purchasing and supply chain issues and category management practices.
- Good legal knowledge.
- Ability to work independently/unsupervised and deliver required outcomes.
- SAP Experience - Perform required activities in use of the SAP procurement system in a timely manner.
- Develop interfaces with key technical and commercial stakeholders to optimise procurement activities.
