REGIONAL SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER/PROCUREMENT/SUPPLIER

Our client based in Hayes is looking for a Regional Supplier Relationship manger to work within the team on an initial 3-6 month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity working for a well-established global organisation, the client is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive candidate who can come in and hit the ground running.

The role will be split into two key areas; procurement and service. You will be expected to manage current suppliers, validate quotes and potentially assist with new bids.

KEY SKILLS:

- Experience of maintaining and building relationships with suppliers.
- Knowledge of dealing with invoice payments
- Have an understanding of contracts and the different types of clauses
- Adhering to SLA's and prioritising work load
- Strong negotiating skills
- Stakeholder Management
- Proven knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince 2/PMP)
- Technical understanding of various network and service providers
- Must have experience of working within a TELECOMS ENVIRONMENT

SELECTED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting the sales team and assisting with the coordination of bid opportunities with suppliers
- Manage, track, measure and monitor the status of all sourcing and contract negotiation activities
- Monitor and review supplier performance, relationships and competitors
- Ensuring all project follow a structure project management approach whilst demonstrating good governance and process
