Procurement Specialist (s)

This is a great opportunity within our local authority client who has current opportunities for experienced procurement professionals to join the procurement team on a 6 -12 month contract basis.

You will be responsible for end to end procurement for a variety of contracts.

To be considered for this role you will preferably have procurement experience in delivering one or more the following:

*Repairs and Maintenance contracts
*Construction Consultancy
*Major and minor works contracts
*Development projects
*Urban and Housing regeneration
*Trades
*Knowledge on various contract types like NEC3/JCT/SBCC

You will preferably have practical experience in
*Public Sector procurement
*Tendering and appointment of contractors and consultants
*Applying best practice in line with EU directive and Public Contracts Scotland Regulations
* Effectively managing the tender process life cycle
*Working with key stakeholders and suppliers
*Maintaining accurate data pertaining to supplier performance throughout the contract life cycle.
