Projektbeschreibung

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST with PUBLIC SECTOR PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANISATION in EDINBURGH OR GLASGOW.

You will be required to support the development of a procurement shared services offering including an operational model covering the procurement of goods and services for several public bodies and to support partners in getting ready to receive services from the shared service.

Duties will include:

- Meetings with staff across the organisation to present the shared service
- Develop organisation wave-plans, identifying those projects to be delivered by the shared service
- Identify procurement risks
- Review and develop procurement strategy/policy where required

Essential Skills:

- Broad procurement understanding
- Understanding of public sector procurement landscape
- Competent in leading, project planning and implementing end to end EU procurement process for projects
- Capable of making recommendations on best practice for the delivery of effective procurement, contract management processes and ensuring ongoing value for money
- Stakeholder management
- It would be highly desirable if you were CIPS qualified.

Candidates will be required to either hold a valid basic Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
You must have been living and working in the UK for a minimum of 3 years due to security clearances required.
