Procurement Specialist - Production and Logistic

Logistics Procurement Specialist - Global Consumer Health Organisation - 12month+

A Global Consumer Health organisation is looking to recruit a Logistic Procurement Specialist to join their logistics team. You will utilise your current logistics skills to support the European Sourcing Manager in implementing and managing various projects and suppliers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and manage various projects and suppliers across the European region.
* Manage contract negotiations for the provision of logistic services (including transport, warehousing, re-packaging).
* Support Supplier Relationship Management and continuous improvement.
* Analyse current warehouse suppliers and contracts across Europe identifying savings.
* Identify technology developments from the supply base and rationalise by running models in Excel.
* Maintain procurement policies, strategies and practices.
* Provide support for strategic relationships with suppliers providing cost effective sources.

Essential Experience:
* Experience across multiple regions and array of logistics categories ideal.
* Demonstrable tendering, contracting and supplier management experience required.
* Strong understanding of people based production including performance benchmarks, work norms.

Other requisitions:
* Travel once every two weeks within Europe
