Procurement Specialist (ICT Procurement)

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST with experience of OJEU AND ICT PROCUREMENT required for INITIAL 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in EDINBURGH.

Duties will include:

- Assist the ICT Products team conduct 6 EU procurement exercise for a range of Client Devices including desktop, laptop and tablet devices. The procurement exercises will run from July 2015 to March/April 2016.
- Development of the strategy for tablet devices, the preparation of the ITT documents for desktops and workstations and the evaluation and subsequent approval for award of all 6 procurements as per the dates provided above.
- Stakeholder and market engagement
- On-going contract management of the existing framework agreements and working with representatives from across the Scottish Public sector who will form the user groups to support the procurement exercises.

Essential Skills:

- OJEU experience
- ICT product procurement
- Good experience of end to end strategic procurement process, including sourcing and tendering, supplier management and negotiation

Candidates will be required to either hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
