Procurement Specialist

My Client is looking for a Procurement Specialist to work on one of their Major Projects/Programmes to do strategic sourcing on the programme as well as do the data reporting.

The programme is designed to have a strategic objective to reduce their current levels of external spend, by improving current processes whilst leveraging spend with suppliers. The project is now in the delivery stage and are looking to produce £23m in savings over the set period.

Joining the project team, the individual will need to be able manipulate data whilst supporting the procurement manager in implementation stage of the project, developing and delivering on robust action plan.

Experience/Skills required:
- Strategic Sourcing
- Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and designing/developing reports from multiple data sources to provide insight
- Strong Data Analyst skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Expert level Excel skills
