Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist x2, London, 6 months +, £450-£475 per day

A leading services organisation with a global reach is looking to bring in two procurement specialists to oversee a major project within the Professional Services Category. My client is looking to consolidate its supplier base in this category with the ultimate target of saving circa 15% across a £100m + spend portfolio.

Supporting the wider business, you will be a professional member of a departmental team with a key role to play in procuring, awarding and delivering contracts to an agreed strategy using best practice mechanisms. The successful candidate will deliver high quality, timely and consistent service built upon strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, external suppliers and contractors alike.
Previous supplier rationalisation/consolidation experience is a pre requisite, as is experience of operating in the Professional Services Category. Experience of working in a complex environment and managing numerous complex stakeholder relations would be an advantage.
