Procurement Specialist

A global engineering group specialising in components and sub-systems for aerospace, defence and energy markets are looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist to join them on an 18 month contract.
The role will involve developing and managing relationships with suppliers, controlling strategic and tactical manufacturing outsourcing, operationally driving the SBU Strategic savings initiatives, Implementing and maintaining rigid supplier measurement process, instigating Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) reports and liaising with internal and external customers.

Specifics:
*Good working knowledge of Supply Chain Techniques
*Avionics background
*Experience within a purchasing background

Ideally you will have:
*knowledge in Master Production Schedule (MPS) or Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
*Experience working in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
*Familiar with Root cause corrective Action (RCCA)
