Procurement-Sourcing Specialist

SUMMARY

- The position will be responsible for working with Field and Home Office Development teams to support the general contractor bidding process, provide sourcing support and compliance, and to drive savings initiatives related to restaurant development.
- The position requires functional knowledge of both restaurant development and construction practices, organizational and reporting skills, a proven track record of being able to effectively manage projects, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Facilitate communication between assigned Field Execution Teams and Home Office for Development/SpendSmart restaurant construction initiatives
- Review construction drawings and bid notes to confirm bids meet identified scope of work
- Coordinate, review and respond to General Contractor RFI's during bidding process
- Develop reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development information and trends
- Promote overall service offering with key stakeholders through the expansion of program initiatives
- Support and promote the General Contractor bidding process for assigned territories
- Establish and cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders both in home office and the field
- Conduct presentations to leadership for new initiatives and concepts when necessary
- Assist in developing/deploying development communications to the field when necessary

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in Construction Management/Development required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Sourcing/procurement experience preferred a plus
- MS Excel, Communications, Data Analysis, Project Management
- Strong project management skills, will work with construction managers managing the procurement process, bid invitations, coordination construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Construction Management experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in an office environment is a plus.
