Procurement & Purchasing Specialist x3

My Wiltshire based client; a public sector body, is looking for 3x Purchasing Specialists.

One role will be to support the procurement of equipment, the second role is to buy IM

- Invitations to tender and their commercial evaluation based on full life costing principles.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
- Placement of orders and contracts.
- Claims resolution to meet the requirements

Proactively engage into the non-clinical networks to influence non-pay expenditure through supplier rationalisation and product standardisation.

Make demonstrable procurement savings year on year for the Constituent Organisations and Clients of the Purchasing Consortium.

Manage and develop the Operational Purchasing Team in order to deliver effective procurement for a diverse customer base and to support the model of care for the health community.
The right candidate needs to have highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, with commercial and analytical problem solving skills.

You will need the ability to deal with confidential matters in a sensitive manner, and have strong inter-personal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
