One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Procurement Project Manager with experience in Laboratory Services
Start: ASAP

MISSION DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Run and Manage convincing and fact based source plan on the concerned area of testing, making sure it is aligned with the strategy of the category
* Manage relationship with Internal business partners & assure high service level in order to secure stakeholder support
* Run Supplier-qualifications (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs)
* Plan and negotiate contracts with suppliers, utilizing legal supportand ensure critical issues are incorporated into contract ensuring optimal turn-around-times
* Reduce time to contract and improve contract terms to protect future clients interests in quality of delivery, intellectual property
* Contribute to the cost savings delivery of the overall Procurement savings target
* Ellaborate creative business model supporting Make or Buyanalysis
* Applies Suppliers Relationship Management activities to sourcinggroup and participates in the implementation of action plans withsuppliers to improve suppliers' performance.
* Understands and advocates use of Procurement tools and processes.
* Ensures compliance to internal policies, all legal requirements andthe buying process
PREREQUISITES
Education:
* Master level degree in Economics/Business/Procurement or by Experience.
* Scientifical background is a plus.
Knowledge:
* High level understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D and clinical business
* Experience in negotiations, sourcing processes, strategic sourcingand implementation
* Synthesis and analytical skills, ability to calculate financial datasand to interpretate financial statements (SFE)
* Quick Learner, Dynamic, Result oriented.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability towork in a team
* Fluent in English (French is a nice to have)
* Strong affinity with IT tools (excel, Powerpoint)
Experience:
* At least 3-5 years of procurement experience, depending on learningagility and other experience
* Familiarity with the laboratory environment is a plus.
* Experience in project/change management
* Experience in large organizations
