Procurement Project Manager

PROCUREMENT PROJECT MANAGER - OJEU - MARKETING PRODUCTS - SOCIAL MEDIA EU RESTRICTED TENDERS - STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

Our Client, a leading broadcasting company, is looking for an experienced procurement Project Manager to join them on a contract basis. The role is based in London and they are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of a team and with extensive knowledge of managing multiple tenders at any one time to deliver tenders for Marketing Products such as buying, Market Research and Social Media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Managed multiple tenders at any one time
- Planning and organising internal and external stakeholders
- Managing a spend category
- Develop a strategy for the procurement and development of a category
- Manage the category supplier relationships
- Draft specifications with client, OJEU advertisements, selection criteria, questionnaires, contract schedules, ITTs and other documentation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- A background in delivering tenders for large projects and experience working within central government or similar
- Experience running tenders for marketing products and services such as media buying, social media and/or market research
- Could also have marketing experience is they are "good procurers" that can transfer their skills. If a candidate had media experience this would be beneficial but is not essential
- OJEU experience is essential along with experience of the EU Restricted tender process
- The candidate must have knowledge of (OJEU) regulations, Contract Law and Fair trade; Individuals must have actually implemented the regulations as opposed to having knowledge of them
- Good financial awareness and project management skills
