Procurement Project Manager

Our client, am ultinational company in the pharmaceutical industry, is currently looking for a PROCUREMENT PROJECT MANAGER.
Location: Walloon Brabant
Duration: 6 months
Scope of work:
As part of its strategy for a specific business unit, our client would like to extend its global network of testing labs as well as maintaining current relationship and price level with the existing Service Providers. SOURCING ACTIVITIES, Request for information and Request for proposal would then be necessary for the existing and the new labs. This will include proposal analysis, negotiation and contract implementation.
- Supp the development and implementation of the Clinical Testing Portofolio within the R&D and Clinical lab testing category
- Manage relationship with Internal business partners & assure highest service level
- Create convincing and fact based source plans and secure stakeholder support
- Run Supplier-qualifications (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Plan and negotiate contracts with suppliers, utilizing legal support and ensure critical issues are incorporated into contract ensuring optimal turn-around-times
- Reduce time to contract and improve contract terms to protect future GSK interests in quality of delivery, intellectual property
- Contribute to the cost savings delivery of the overall Procurement savings target
- Applies Suppliers Relationship Management activities to sourcing group and participates in the implementation of action plans with suppliers to improve suppliers' performance.
- Understands and advocates use of Procurement tools and processes.
- Ensures compliance to internal policies, all legal requirements and the buying process
Requirements:
- Master level degree in Economics/Business/PROCUREMENT or by Experience.
- (+) Scientifical background or/and Supply chain
- Quick Learner, Dynamic, Result oriented
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team
- Synthesis and analytical skills, ability to calculate financial datas and to interpretate financial statements (SFE)
- High level understanding of Pharmaceutical clinical business (+) Familiarity with the laboratory environment
- Strong affinity with IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- At least 3 years of PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE, depending on learning agility and other experience
- NEGOTIATIONS, SOURCING PROCESSES, STRATEGIC SOURCING AND IMPLEMENTATION
