* Project manage procurement activities related to strategic business programmes
* Develop a robust plan of Procurement activities required to support the relevant programme
* Work with cross functional stakeholders and procurement managers to identify procurement options
* Understand, monitor and manage budget and scheduling information
* Support the development of Programme procurement strategies
* Represent procurement at Programme boards
* Enable issue resolution
* Work with stakeholders and Procurement Managers to ensure that business needs are clearly scoped and understood so as to ensure quality performance specifications are prepared and priced by Procurement
Specific Experience
* Experienced purchasing practitioner with proven experience in sourcing across a range of market sectors and/or supply categories (Minimum 5 years)
* Demonstrable consistent delivery against targets in line with expectations of the client
* Significant proven experience of leading complex cross-functional teams to deliver timely outcomes within changing environments
* Experience of delivering projects to meet business affordability targets
* Demonstrable experience of working in a structured process environment supported by an on-going desire to continually improve
* Excellent project management skills
* Competency of Microsoft Project, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD
* Ability to quickly pick up organisational awareness of key stakeholders, working groups and governance
